Day 1 – Arrival at Guwahati & Drive to Shillong
Meghalaya Tour
Your 1st day of Meghalaya tour package begins the moment you arrive in Guwahati.
Our representative will receive you at the airport or station and escort you to your private cab.
On the way to Shillong, stop at the stunning Umiam Lake (Barapani) — one of Northeast India’s most scenic lakes. Capture a few photos or take a quick boat ride before continuing your drive to Shillong, known as the “Scotland of the East.”
Spend your evening exploring Police Bazaar, trying local cafés, or simply enjoying the cool mountain breeze. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2 – Discover the Charm of Shillong
Your 2nd day of your Meghalaya Tour starts:
Wake up to the sound of birds and the aroma of pine trees. After breakfast, set out for a full day of sightseeing in Shillong.
Visit the Don Bosco Museum, a must-see for those interested in Northeast India’s culture and history. Enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak, relax at Ward’s Lake, and walk through Lady Hydari Park and the Shillong Golf Course — one of Asia’s oldest natural golf courses.
By evening, stroll through local markets and pick up traditional Khasi crafts or souvenirs. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3 – Rainy Wonderlands: Mawsynram & Mawphlang Sacred Forest
Today’s adventure takes you to Mawsynram, the wettest place on Earth. The landscapes here are dramatic — green hills, mist-covered valleys, and rain that makes everything glow. Visit local caves, scenic viewpoints, and small waterfalls along the way.
On your return, stop by the Mawphlang Sacred Grove, an ancient forest protected by local Khasi traditions. Walk quietly among centuries-old trees and hear stories from your local guide. It’s a peaceful yet powerful experience that connects nature and spirituality.
Overnight in Shillong.

Day 4 – Krang Suri Waterfalls & Phe Phe Falls
After breakfast, drive towards Krang Suri Waterfalls, one of Meghalaya’s most Instagram-worthy destinations. The turquoise-blue pool at the base of the waterfall is perfect for photos or a refreshing dip.
Continue your journey to Phe Phe Falls, another breathtaking gem tucked inside Meghalaya’s hills. These two hidden waterfalls make this day a highlight of every Meghalaya tour package.
Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 5 – Shillong to Cherrapunji: Waterfalls, Caves & Valleys
On Day 5 of your Meghalaya tour package, head to Cherrapunji, the land of clouds and waterfalls.
Visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls — India’s tallest plunge waterfall, explore the mystical Mawsmai Caves, and enjoy scenic viewpoints like Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, and Thangkharang Park.
The drive offers breathtaking views of deep valleys, limestone caves, and forested canyons. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 6 – Living Root Bridge Trek, Mawlynnong & Dawki River
This is the most exciting day of your Meghalaya tour itinerary.
Start early for Mawlynnong Village, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Take a guided village walk, meet friendly locals, and visit the iconic Living Root Bridge — a natural wonder formed from centuries-old tree roots.
Next, drive to Dawki, home to the crystal-clear Umngot River, where you can enjoy boating on transparent water. Capture your best travel photos here — it’s one of the most popular experiences in any Meghalaya tour package from Guwahati.
Visit the Indo–Bangladesh border viewpoint before returning to Cherrapunji. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 7 – Cherrapunji to Guwahati via Scenic Hills
After breakfast, bid farewell to the hills of Meghalaya and drive back to Guwahati. The road winds through pine forests and rolling valleys — perfect for one last round of photos.
On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, you can take a Brahmaputra River cruise or visit the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra to learn about Assam’s culture. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 8 – Departure from Guwahati
Your 8-day Meghalaya tour package concludes today. After breakfast, check out and head to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
Leave Meghalaya with beautiful memories of waterfalls, bridges, rivers, and the warm hospitality of the Northeast.
